Julia is a French woman who grew up in Lyon, the Gastronomical Capital of France, some say, of the world. Her parents Pierre and Veronique, both restaurant owners and chefs, gave her an enduring love of fine cooking. Julia likes to share her passion for fine food à la française, and offers a customized cuisine in her adoptive home, California to meet all tastes—French, Mexican, Moroccan, Indian, Mediterranean, and more—adapted to suit all palettes. 


Combining a respect for fine food and fresh produce, Julia will look far and wide for choice ingredients, making her cooking culinary experience. Through her varied recipes, Julia invites her clients to enjoy foreign countries from the comfort of their own home, by savoring some of the world’s finest cuisine. 


Trained by some of the best chefs in France and America, most notably the Dardilly Francois Rabelais Culinary School in Lyon, France, Julia, a world traveler, enjoys sharing her passion for people and delicious cooking. Since 2006, Julia has lived in California, first in San Francisco, now in San Diego, where she has expanded her knowledge of restaurant management, while she learned practiced her skills as a first-rate chef and wine connissesseur.


Through her company, French chef at Home, Julia will come into your home to make cook a meal to your specifications for special occasions like birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, graduations, Valentine’s Day, New Years, and, of course, Bastille Day, the French national holiday. But the occasion doesn’t have to be special for you to enjoy a special meal of the cuisine of your choice, prepared by your very own French chef, who brings to each occasion a French touch and helps you enjoy the spice of life.
